The girl


I'm a fulltime graduate student who is finally trying to make time for ME. With the hustle-and-bustle of life, it seems as though there is always a reason to put off "starting to eat healthy" or to "skip todays workout." My husband and I are finally ready to become parents and I've realized that for the sake of the health of my child (and my own personal health!) I really need to lose weight before we start actively trying to conceive. My highest weight was 208lbs back in 2005, and while I've gained and lost since then, I've never reached that high of weight since.



The journal


This little journal is just something I started to help me stay on track and be positive during my weight-loss journey! I've realized that weight-loss (for me) is not just about food and exercise, but it's an entire lifestyle change where loving myself should always come first. My weight-loss website can be found HERE. My main goals are to be healthier, and more toned- being JUST thin is not something that I want. Weigh-in days are on SATURDAY.
Measurements are taken at the 1st of each month.


1- 3/1/08: 204lbs.
2- 3/8/08: 197.6lbs.
3- 3/20/08: 194.6lbs.
4- 4/5/08: 192.8lbs.
5- 4/12/08: 191.6lbs.
6- 5/2/08: 189.5lbs.
